Jyana’s Celebration

Occasionally, a pediatric hospice patient stabilizes enough to graduate from the program and transition exclusively to palliative care. When that happens, MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care celebrates!

Thanks to our friends at the Brooklyn Nets, Barclays Center and MJHS Foundation, Little Jyana, who has cerebral degeneration, her mom, Eleana, and mom's boyfriend, Nick, saw Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, the "greatest show on earth", in grand style, while dining on tasty delights.

Joining them were two members of the MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care team.

It was a truly unforgettable night for everyone! That's what the MJHS Build a Memory program is all about...instant joy for the patient and lasting memories for the family.
